Changes

The [[gp:Electrical and Computer Engineering|Electrical and Computer Department]] now has a machine that currently mirrors all of Arch Linux, and is kept much more up to date than the CS mirror. Soon it'll have mirroring for Gentoo and Ubuntu as well: at [http://mirror.ece.vt.edu/ http://mirror.ece.vt.edu/]is currently down, but will be coming under new management. There are existing on campus mirrors for a lot of popular distributions, so while mirror.ece.vt.edu will host them it will focus on providing more unusual requests from the community. It currently is considering hosting the following (add more if you wish): * Ubuntu* Epel* Fedora* CentOS* Scientific Linux* OpenIndiana* OpenBSD* FreeBSD* NetBSD A final list will be released in the upcoming weeks, not that more can't be added later.
