Chimera was the third generation auth server, running FreeIPA as a VM on meltdown. It superseded razor, the previous LDAP server. It is currently running Centos 7.

Sphinx is the 3.5th generation auth. server. It's am AlmaLinux 8.10 VM on meltdown, is designated as a replica for chimera, and is set up much the same.
