The student research and faculty advising is done by individuals in the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science departments.The image2math initiative is part of the overall Assistive Technologies Research Initiative who's aim is to research and develop software (or possibly hardware in the future) to assist people with disabilities. The Assistive Technologies Lab is controlled by Bill Holbach (holbach@vt.edu) and Hal Brackett (brackett@vt.edu).
