The Image2Math project is aimed a comprehensive software that can take a scanned image of a math equation and output it as MathML files so they can be used with MathML compatible software (such as Mozilla, SoundAPIs, and even MathML solvers). The project is still in alpha development by students who work as either Independent Research or voluntary. If you would like more information please contact Srujan Jonnadula (jonnadul@vt.edu), Jake Bruce (jbruce8675309@yahoo.com), or Professor Abbott (abbott@vt.edu).
