O'Reilly] donates books for us to use as door prizes. They offer members a discount on books and the opportunity to receive free copies of books in return for (unbiased) book reviews posted anywhere online.
Qualcomm
Qualcomm has generously donated prizes such as an G1 and giveaways like pencils and staplers in the past. They are also interested in recruiting competent programmers and Linux-using students as interns and graduates as full-time employees.
