GEZEL is a cycle-based hardware description language based on the Finite-State-Machine + Datapath (FSMD) model. Its tools offer extensible simulation and code generation. GEZEL was the thesis work of [[Patrick Schaumont]] and Doris Ching at [[w:University of California, Los Angeles|UCLA]]. It is licensed under the GPLv2[[w:GNU_Lesser_General_Public_License|LGPL]].
