Crashoverride was the name of the server running VTLUUG's Tahoe-LAFS introducer.

History

Generation 1

Around 2011, a Tahoe grid was created with an introducer on Wood in a Debian 6 VM. Files were set to a ~1 month expire time. User backups ended up filling up the grid's storage space.

Generation 2

In December 2014, a new Tahoe grid was created by mhazinsk with an introducer CentOS 6 VM on Cyberdelia after the old one fell into disrepair. This one is an onion grid, meaning all nodes are connected by Tor, and storage nodes have location anonymity. Storage nodes are currently configured to not expire data.
