O'Reilly donates books for us to use as door prizes. They offer members a discount on books and the opportunity to receive free copies of books in return for (unbiased) book reviews posted anywhere online.
Qualcomm
Qualcomm has generously donated prizes such as a G1 and giveaways like pencils and staplers in the past. They are also interested in recruiting competent programmers and Linux-using students as interns and graduates as full-time employees.
