The following limits will be of interest to anyone converting between data formats:
| • | Lines in data files can be no longer than 255 characters. |
| • | Station names (unprefixed) are limited to 8 characters in length. |
| • | Station name are limited to 127 characters in length but should be unique in the first 8 characters. |
| • | The maximum length of a pathname is 255 characters. For a segment name it's 80 characters. |
| • | Project and segment trees are currently limited to 16 levels of depth. |
Here are some program limitations I expect to remove eventually:
| • | Other export formats may be supported, such as GPX, KML, and DXF. |
| • | Reports formatted especially for the printer are not yet available. |
| • | SVG exports are limited to plan views. |
