Meeting:
* Time: 2026-04-29 19:00:00
* Location: McBryde 202
* Subject: Low-tech backup keys with age
* Presenter: Clark Jones

== Plan/Description ==

[ROOM CHANGE!]

Printers are untrustworthy, but cryptography is goated. I'll explain how you can use
age
to make and use cheap offline backup keys for when you inevitably lose your YubiKey. The concepts apply to more than just
age
, but
age
is a modern, extensible tool with a user interface that is harder to misuse. It also has a slick feature that makes it particularly suited for this purpose.
